Here is a good news for the Instagram lover. Instagram, one of the most popular social media platform now has recently added the new “Voice Messaging Feature” to its direct messages. This new feature is offered for both Android and iOS devices. Now Instagram users can record and send their voice messages within a minute to a group or private chat.

This new audio feature of Instagram is very simple and easy to use as you have already practiced on other famous instant messaging apps. However, it is explained here for your convenience. 

Follow the instructions below to send an audio message on Instagram:

1.  First of all, you must update your older version of Instagram App to the latest, go to playstore, search for Instagram, click on the Instagram icon and now hit on the update.

2.  After updating open the Instagram app on your device.

3.  Click on the “Direct Message” icon.

4.  Now select the private contact or a group to which you want to send the voice message.

5.  In the text box below click on “Mic” icon and hold.

 
      6.  Start the recording of your voice message.

      7.  When done, release the “Mic” icon.

      8.  Send your message.

Important:

If it is not sure either message has been recorded or not, drag the finger to left and delete it. Now record the message again. In case the message has already been sent, you should press and hold your finger at the recorded message to un-send it.
